‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: More on a new face
The new characters on “True Blood” season 6 just keep coming. You’ve already heard about a new love interest for Sookie in addition to an outspoken young activist named Nicole; and now, we are catching some more details on a character we first mentioned months ago in the Governor of Louisiana.
According to a new report coming to us via E! News, the man’s name is Creighton Burrell, and he is not going to be particularly kind to people with a certain vampire persuasion. Why? Well, his wife ran off with one of them, which has put both him and his daughter in a bit of a tricky position. As much as many people are doing what they can to preach cooperation between the two races, it seems like more people such as him or the late Russell Edgington on the other side are doing whatever they can in order to tear people apart.
Burrell will be a series regular throughout season 6, which means in some way that he is going to be worth watching for at least a sizable chunk of the season. (Then again, Christopher Meloni was given a similar title, even though he only appeared in just a few episodes.) Is he in some shape or form a Big Bad to some of the vampire characters? It’s possible, but you have to also put him up there with Warlow, who Sookie is currently trying to hunt down to avenge the death of her parents, along with the new form of Bill Compton.
Who do you want to see in this role, and are you getting tired in any way of seeing powerful people on “True Blood” wanting to take vampires out?
