‘Anger Management’ spoilers: Cee Lo Green, Charlie Sheen to hang out
When you remember that Cee Lo Green is currently developing some sort of comedy pilot over at NBC, then it would only make sense for the singer to want to get his feet wet on a few other shows. With that in mind, why not have the guy guest-star on what is one of the most traditional sitcoms out there at the moment?
Sources have confirmed that “The Voice” coach is basically on board the Charlie Sheen comedy “Anger Management” (which is currently shooting part of its massive 90-episode order), where he will play an exaggerated version of himself who seeks guidance from Charlie’s therapist character after suffering a great deal of stress. This information is all well and good, but there is one question that we feel really has to be asked at this point: what does an exaggerated version of Cee Lo Green really look like?
“Anger Management” got off to an enormous start on FX this past summer, but eventually leveled off at a level that still made it its highest-rated comedy series. The show is already preparing itself for syndication, and this product is ultimately going to end up making Sheen and many of the producers extremely extremely wealthy. Cee Lo won’t be getting a cut of that, but he will at least have some more experience in the family comedy environment. He most-recently appeared on the NBC drama “Parenthood,” where he temporarily used their recording studio to cut an album. Cee Lo also has a holiday disc in stores now, and is taking off from season 4 of “The Voice” to focus on other projects.
