‘Dexter’ season 7, episode 10 preview: More trouble than ever
Is Dexter Morgan angling for a kill again soon? Based on the latest promo Showtime has released for the tenth episode of season 7, we’re betting on it. As a matter of fact, we even know the target. After all, why else would we be introduced to a new character so later in the season to the Phantom Arsonist? Just as we said in our earlier review for Sunday’s episode, this feels like Ray Speltzer 2.0, and Dexter is going to have plenty of motivation to take this guy down and fulfill his need … something that he is also still trying to get Hannah to understand.
However, what Dexter may not be realizing just yet is that while he is busy trying to figure out how to kill again, he should be concerned about how to stop LaGuerta. Thanks to her decision to move on with the investigation without Deb, nobody really knows how close she is getting to him. It’s possible in most other situations that he would keep closer tabs on her, but he just does not have time at the moment based on the millions of other things currently going on with his life.
By the end of this episode, we are hopefully going to get a greater sense of what the final two episodes of the season will contain, whether it be Dexter getting found out, him escaping yet again, or if Hannah is actually going to be more than just a one-season role.
What do you think is going to happen first on this show: Dexter getting his next kill, or LaGuerta getting so close to incriminating Dexter that she could breathe down his next?
