‘Homeland’ season 2, episode 10 preview: Who’s off the grid now?
Just when you thought that “Homeland” season 2 could not find a way to be even more suspenseful, they then manage to put Brody’s life on the line in an unexpected way. At the end of Sunday night’s new episode, we learned that Damian Lewis’ character was not just the asset for the case top stop Abu Nazir; he is also a target, and will be taken down by a secret force the moment that the mission is over.
The problem with this plot? Let’s just say that some people rather close to the case are starting to get suspicious … including someone who is not even remotely afraid of getting close to Brody. Carrie has always wondered why a man in Quinn is handling this case who she has no experience in working with, and thanks to Saul we are starting to finally figure it out: the man is in Black Ops, and he knows a thing or two about taking down big targets in addition to solving cases and protecting the country.
We don’t know if Saul tipped Carrie off to something that is going on or this is something else entirely, but regardless the new promo below for the next new episode shows Carrie completely missing in action as the team discovers that she was in a car accident … but her body is nowhere to be seen. We all know she has a knack for going off to grid, but what can she hope to gain from it this time, unless of course she now knows what is really going on with the agency?
Of, and we should also add in here that Abu Nazir is not pleased at all that Brody tricked him; as a matter of fact, he’s out for some sort of revenge.
Do you think Carrie is out to try and protect Brody again this week?
