Suits season 7 episode 11 return date hopes for Gabriel Macht, cast

Following tonight’s summer finale, we assume you want to know the Suits season 7 episode 11 return date … or at least the possibilities?

Let’s start this discussion with a brief episode-count reminder: There are still six more installments left to air for the seventh season, and following that the future of the show is still unclear. CarterMatt does know that there are hopes to continue the show beyond season 7, but we’ll see what happens there (presumably either later this fall or in the new year). The focus of this article is more on the specific return date, and there is some decent evidence out there right now as to when it will be … at least to a certain extent.

Over the past three years, we’ve seen Suits return to USA in the last week or two of January, so there is a school of thought suggesting that you could see Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, and the rest of the cast back around that time with some new stories to tell. However, there is no guarantee that past action will dictate future outcome. As a matter of fact, we would argue that said return date is unlikely for some fairly-simple reason: The Winter Olympics. These tend to take place in February, and as a result of USA being one of the broadcasters for various events within the games, there are scheduling conflicts that do come up during the time in which the Games are happening. This is why back all the way in Suits season 3, we saw the show wait until March to come back with the second half of the season, and the same could happen here again.

If there is a silver lining to the show starting back up so late, it is this: You may not have to wait anywhere near as long between the end of season 7 and the start of a potential season 8, and there may be even more great show-related content in the new year depending on whether or not the Jessica Pearson spin-off is greenlit at USA. For now, the only thing that is definitively known about that is it will launch out of the upcoming season 7 finale, and beyond that we just have to take a wait-and-see approach for what happens.

Odds are, we won’t learn the exact Suits season 7 episode 11 return date is until we roll around to near the end of the year. There isn’t any hurry for the next part of the season to be announced given that there’s going to be some sort of promotional tour down the road for the show coming back. Obviously, we know that there are going to be questions at the end of the season about the future of Meghan Markle, but why get into that now? Let’s just enjoy the story for what it is.
