Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Final five Veto Ceremony results

final five Veto Ceremony

The final five Veto Ceremony happened in the Big Brother 19 house, and the results were … well, expected. We’re not going to get a lot of juice here at CarterMatt out of this decision.

In the end, things went exactly according to plan. Paul declined to use the Veto, which means that Alex and Kevin remain on the block. Paul and Christmas are the only two voting, and they’ve been in lockstep together for a rather long time. They’ll vote together to send Alex packing, which means that Kevin, Josh, Christmas, and Paul will be the final four. This is definitely not the final four we would’ve predicted at the start of the game. Kevin’s made it much further than the typical “older” contestants do in the US game, and Josh was someone who many thought would be the first person sent home from the game. (That may be true, judging from how badly he needed to take that apple in the early going.)

Anyhow, Alex now awaits her fate … tomorrow. There is no Sunday eviction (something that Paul has falsely claimed most of the season), but there will be a show taping on Tuesday in which she goes home. Feeds will then remain down until after her eviction airs on CBS.  Think in terms of Wednesday night. Everything will be back online after that for most of the rest of the season. The bad news for Kevin is that there’s almost nowhere for him to run at the final four unless he manages to win either the Head of Household or the Veto, and we imagine that he’s going to try to win those competitions more than he has virtually any other this season. If he throws them at Paul’s request we’re going to be shaking our head in shame for the remainder of the season.

As for if CarterMatt thinks we are going to see Alex do a lot of campaigning between now and tomorrow, probably not. She’s already been told of the intention for her to leave the game, and there aren’t many people for her to campaign to. She already knows that Paul is betraying her, and there is no incentive for Christmas to do anything different at this point. She’s the bigger threat of the two, and a huge competition threat at this point in the game. She stands a much better chance of beating Paul in the final three Head of Household than anyone else remaining in the game.

Here’s the one thing we hope

Can we have a jury house segment on Wednesday’s show? We want to see what’s happening over there, and if people like Cody and Elena are starting to be driven insane by such arrivals as Matt and Raven. We know that in the game they certainly weren’t be fans of the two of them.
