The Fosters season 5 episode 8 spoilers: Brandon throws an engagement party

Fosters season 5 episode 8The Fosters season 5 episode 8 is entitled “Engaged,” and there are reasons to wonder what the meaning is there. From one vantage point, you can view this as a simple reference to the relationship status of Ana and Mike, who were recently engaged and Brandon, their best man, is now throwing them a party. However, you could also say that maybe this is a nod to Jesus trying to get engaged to Emma, or just the idea of engagement in general — people communicating with one another in hopes of trying to better understand the surrounding world. Communication is something that these characters still struggle with — when you are young, it’s still difficult to open up and get other people to better understand your point of view. It is often so much easier to feel insular and not like you want anyone to know the real you out of fear.

We saw Callie take some big steps forward tonight in being open; we’ll see what happens with some of the other characters. Based on the information we’ve got below, one of the only for-sure indications that we’ve got at the moment is that there is going to be drama. Brandon’s engagement party for Ana and Mike is not going to go as expected.

The Fosters season 5 episode 8 synopsis – “Brandon throws a party which turns south when secrets are revealed. Mariana and Jude try to convince the students to vote against their school going private.”

So what’s going on here? There are a number of different things that you can speculate about here, starting with whether or not Gabe found a way to enter the mix thanks to some of the questions Jesus previously asked him. It’s also possible that there could just be some tension in general when you’re throwing so many people in general into a single room — think Callie, AJ, and Aaron, or Jesus and really anyone at the moment give that he is still recovering from his head injury. There are so many ways things could end up going sideways.

As for Mariana and Jude, we just hope that the Anchor Beach storyline is resolved one way or another very soon. After all, this is something that has been going on ever since the end of season 4.
