Silicon Valley season 4 finale spoilers: Everything’s on fire
As it turns out, moving into the season 4 finale we are going to see serious consequences of Richard Hendricks’ latest actions. Things are going to become all the more chaotic and widespread, and the entire team will be scrambling to figure out how to stay afloat. Also, based on what we saw at the end of the episode, Richard will be at its awkward best.
Beyond the story of the episode, one of the other big things to be prepared for in this finale is some sort of goodbye to Erlich Bachmann. The season 4 finale is the farewell for TJ Miller as a cast member. He’s decided to move on to some other things, and seeing how his story will end is going to be a big point of intrigue. The last we saw him, he went and saw Gavin Belson halfway around the world in Tibet. It’s certainly possible that both characters could be leaving in theory, but whether or not that ends up to be the case remains to be seen.
The one thing that we do know is that moving into season 4, we do feel like this is the time for some characters found some success, even though they are far from that at the moment. While we do continue to find the show very funny, there are some flaws in the foundation. For one, the writers do seem convinced that for whatever reason, the show is funnier when these guys remain underdogs. We do think that with more money does come further problems, and as a result of that, there would be many story opportunities to come out of success. Maybe there will be a cast member who ends up replacing Miller, or maybe we’ll just see more of the likes of Big Head and Jian Yang, who have a tendency to show up here and there.
