The Originals season 4 episode 13 (finale) spoilers: Stopping The Hollow, saving Hope

Who knew we’d get a chance to make a reference to one Daniel Gillies show in the title for another? On The Originals season 4 episode 13, a.k.a. the season finale, Hope’s future is very much in jeopardy thanks to The Hollow. As a result of that, the stakes have never been higher for the Mikaelsons, as they will have to race against time, and also potentially cost key characters their lives. Thanks in part to being immortal, Klaus and company should know a thing or two about sacrifice. This episode, entitled “The Feast of All Sinners,” is a great way for them to demonstrate that.

Below, you can take a look at some of the key players that are involved in the final battle between some of the most powerful vampires of all time, and a witch who has ability beyond almost any other that we’ve ever seen… and that’s saying a lot since there are some pretty powerful witches out there in TV land.

The Originals season 4 episode 13 synopsis – “In an explosive season finale, the Mikaelsons find themselves out of options as they face the all-powerful and un-killable entity known as The Hollow. With the life of Hope (guest star Summer Fontana) at stake, Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) proposes a final, desperate plan – one that will force Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt) and Freya (Riley Voelkel) to make the greatest sacrifice their family has ever endured.”

It’s good to see that this episode is going to feature a wide array of familiar faces including Holt, who we’ve actually gotten a chance to see a lot of this season. Do we want to see a Candice Accola appearance in here? Absolutely given that the possibility of Hope going to Mystic Falls at the end of all of this. Consider that something that is very much on our minds as we get closer to the finale airing.

Promo – Judging from what Vincent told us, the sacrifice that is going to be necessary in order to save Hope could be devastating. As a matter of fact, it may cause the Mikaelsons to never be able to see each other again if it works. As we said – the stakes have never been higher!
