Outlander season 3 notes: New Stephen Walters project; filming keeps on
The actor, who played the super-entertaining character of Angus on the Starz series (also, RIP Angus) is working alongside fellow Outlander actor Andrew Gower (Prince Charles Edward Stuart) on a new documentary entitled Humpty Dumpty that is all about the life of one Tommy Quickly. He’s a man who is relatively forgotten in the world of music today, but he was a Liverpool artist with many connections to The Beatles, largely because of the presence of manager Brian Epstein.
If you want to know more about their own history with Quickly, you can check out their Kickstarter page over here. They are working to raise the money necessary to help create the film, and they are already off to a good start — they have thirty days to go, and are already more than a quarter of the way there! Given that we don’t know too much about Quickly, there is a curiosity to seeing this story play out on this end, as well.
This is not the only Outlander related Kickstarter project highlighted here over the past few days; recently, we also shared one supported by Sam Heughan to help youth theater performers in Scotland. That project is over 75% funded as of right now, and there are still more than two weeks to go before it all wraps up.
As for some other news of note…
Despite some recent storms in South Africa, Outlander season 3 production is still going strong as filming wraps up. We’ve noted before that several cast and crew members are now done, with more likely wrapping up within the next week or so. Executive producer Matthew B. Roberts did recently offer up a shout-out to some crew members who are essential to making sure that the show continues to be as strong as it is. (In the case of Patrick Conroy, we know that he wrapped up a little more than a week ago.)
Don’t expect many story details about the final weeks to come in just yet; why would producers want to disclose anything from what could be filming of the season finale?
As always, be sure to share your thoughts on this Outlander story below! Meanwhile, head over to the link here to secure some further news when it comes to the show. (Photo: Starz.)

You are right, Matt, after all, the source material has been published now for over 20 years. We so want to be surprised with the season 3 finale.
