The Flash season 4 premiere date hopes for Grant Gustin, cast
If you look back at the schedule for the last couple of years, the trend is that the Grant Gustin series has a tendency to start airing on either the first or second Tuesday of the month. As for the reason why, that answer is fairly clear: Competition. The network doesn’t want to air some of its premieres against the likes of NBC, CBS, Fox, and ABC, and that makes some sense given that there will be people checking out some new shows over there out of curiosity.
It’s been stated here before, but one of the biggest strengths of The CW is its own quiet confidence. Executives know that shows like The Flash have plenty of fans who will watch, so they’re comfortable letting some viewers check out premieres elsewhere, and then come back to Barry and company when they realize that this show is truly the superior product.
As for circling specific dates, think along the lines of either Tuesday, October 3 or the following week on the 10th. The show remains in the same timeslot as last year, so there is probably not that is going to change other than some of the opponents Barry is fighting, and the sort of writing that is done for a season where the primary Big Bad is not a speedster for a change. This is one of the few things confirmed for the show at present, with one of the other ones being than an epic four-part crossover is coming between all of the current superhero shows. This past crossover, Supergirl is going to be much more included in the world after only being included briefly because of its late inclusion on The CW.
