Call the Midwife season 7 premiere date: When will it air on PBS?
The first thing to expect when it comes to the show is the great annual tradition otherwise known as the Christmas Special, which is going to air of course in December. It’s too early to know what some of the precise details of this season are, but you should go ahead and anticipate another exciting story that features a major event or two. Last year, the main event of the Christmas Special was seeing many of the main characters head down to South Africa. That’s where the Barbara – Tom engagement first happened, and also where the entire cast of characters got a little bit of further insight in terms of how people lived on the other side of the world. It was inspiring, but also devastating and sad. These are some of the complicated emotions that one should expect to see come about anytime that Call the Midwife comes on the air. If you do fancy yourself a regular viewer, you know a thing or two at the moment about what some of these feelings are like.
In getting back to the season 7 premiere date proper on PBS, all easy guesses are that the show is going to be coming back in either late March or early April. After all, this is when it has premiered over the course of the past few years. It is, however, later than when the show will premiere in the UK on BBC One, which is something that does tend to happen with most shows that are not Sherlock and have a pretty substantial delay between their UK and US premiere dates. Hopefully, it will prove to be worth it.
The good news is that there is going to be a new and exciting midwife on the show next season, which you can see more about over at the link here. Unfortunately, it also seems as though Patsy could be gone for most if not all of the season.
