The Originals season 4 episode 7: How far will Elijah go?
We know that Elijah is not a character we typically identify as “restless,” given that the bulk of the moves that he makes are ones that come together after some careful plotting and patience. He is quick to act when he needs to, though, and he may do just that over the course of this coming episode.
Some of this, you can see explained in the video below courtesy of executive producer Michael Narducci, who makes it clear that in the wake of Dominic’s resurrection and the spreading influence of The Hollow, we will see Daniel Gillies’ character do whatever needs to be done for the sake of protecting himself and others. Narducci specifically mentions that you’re going to see the character do one of the most shocking things that he’s ever done.
We do think that the finale does make one thing clear above all others — if you want to remain unspoiled about what happens over the course of the hour, this is probably a finale that you want to watch live!
As for elsewhere in this episode, one of the other fun things to look forward to here is the impending interaction between Hope and Marcel, given the fact that they haven’t spent a whole lot of time together ever since the show jumped forward in time. Consider this story a great opportunity to see that even though she’s a child, Hope really doesn’t suffer fools. She’s clearly taken that away from both of her parents. Ultimately, good luck to Marcel in his hopes of trying to figure out a way to get out of this situation in one piece. The only thing really going for him is that there are still a ton of episodes to go this season.
