The Blacklist season 4 episode 19 promo: Messing with Liz’s memories

Now that we know the real origins of Mr. Kaplan, the story of The Blacklist season 4 episode 19 coming up could be essential. This is a chance to see whether or not Reddington will as able to stop the Big Bad and his old friend from potentially turning Liz against him, and using some of her own memories in order to do so. Remember here that it was Kate who was responsible for helping to raise her when she was very little. As this season in particular advances, we only imagine things becoming progressively more complicated as a result.

For the time being, let’s go ahead and offer up a few more details regarding what we think you can expect to see over the course of this episode next week entitled “Dr. Bogdan Krilov.” (Side note: We’re not sure if there is any episode title for this show we’re going to be forgetting as quickly as we end up forgetting this one.)

The Blacklist season 4 episode 19 synopsis – “Red (James Spader) sets the Task Force on the trail of a Blacklister with the tools to manipulate memories, causing Liz (Megan Boone) to question her own experiences. As Gale (Enrique Murciano) intensifies his investigation, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) receives a new lead on the disappearance of Justice Department official Reven Wright.”

Obviously, Dr. Krilov is the Blacklister with the skills necessary to dismantle someone’s mental state, which is for our money one of the most sophisticated skills out there. This is in turn what makes Dr. Krilov such an interesting and integral threat within this world — he can do something that few other characters can, and there are few things in this world that are as valuable as memories. With everything considered, this show be one of the most intriguing, challenging stories that we’ve had a chance to see all season. It should also set the stage rather well for the final three episodes this season.
