Big Brother Canada 5 live feed spoilers: The Have-Not debacle

Have-Not

Oh, Big Brother Canada and all of your twists … THIS is what happens when the house chooses to eliminate people with the capacity for giving you fun feeds. Production finds a way to stir the pot, and they did so today with the Have-Not selection process.

We’ve ultimately seen something similar to this in the past — the houseguests were told to give someone a certain amount of cookies, and from there, go on to explain why they were doing it. They thought that the people with the most cookies in the end would be the Have-Nots. Instead, two different things happened.

1. The people with the least amount of cookies actually ended up becoming the Have-Nots for the week.

2. All of the houseguests had an opportunity in order to hear what everyone was saying.

As you would imagine, some people among the group of Bruno, Demetres, William, and Emily were upset — namely, Bruno. His temper was one of the worst parts of his game in season 3, and him ranting about production was a really bad look for him. We understand the multiple weeks of being a Have-Not is not fun, and neither is having the show expose some of your game. If this was the first time that the Canadian show did something like this, we’d be a little bit angrier about it. However, Big Brother’s been betraying these houseguests for years. Neda actually showed a certain degree of awareness that production could do something like this, and she adjusted accordingly in a way that few others did. This is why’s found herself yet again in a great position, even with such an enormous and obvious target on her back. She is very good at finding some ways to deflect that and go about doing her own thing.

Here’s a lesson to anyone out there watching the show and hoping to be on it — if Big Brother ever wants you to vocalize some of your thoughts in the house, you should always be suspicious of it. They can do whatever they want, and they’re under no obligation to keep anything from your game a secret. It’s really your responsibility to be aware of that and do whatever you can to mask some of your real thoughts unless you’re in the Diary Room.

If you missed it, head over here to get the Veto winner from earlier today, and to find out what they are likely to do with it based on the nominees.
