The Walking Dead season 7 episode 15 sneak peek: Gregory, Maggie, and shade
Specifically, he’s a slimeball in this case who wants to try to manipulate Maggie into her thinking that the two parties are on the same side, when in reality that may not be anywhere near the case. He just doesn’t like the idea of someone altering the way in which he does things. He’s seen the Hilltop Colony threatened more, and Gregory is the sort of guy who is fond of his own notion of stability. It doesn’t quite matter to him if there is any real legs to his stability or not. He’s comfortable, and in his mind, that is really what matters a million times more than anything else.
Therefore, we’ve got every indication and thought in the world that we’re probably going to see Gregory try and kill Maggie by the time that we make it to the end of this episode. We don’t exactly think he’s going to be successful (Gregory’s too much of of a coward to pull this off), but that doesn’t mean that he’ll balk at the opportunity entirely.
There are a number of different (and important) story threads that need to be touched on over the course of this episode. For example, you’ve got everything that could be happen for Sasha after her decision to go it alone in the Sanctuary. Meanwhile, you’ve got Rick and company potentially set to tie up some loose ends — Oceanside has to be a factor here, right? All of this is setting the stage for an epic showdown with Negan in the finale, or what we like to imagine will be a showdown with Negan. Can you imagine what the internet will be like if we have all of this buildup and then the showdown never happens or is pushed down the road?
One way or another, Sunday’s episode will be exciting. The Walking Dead tends to often have these long bumps in the road before it gets to the place it’s been building towards, but typically it’s incredibly exciting and then some when it actually makes it there.
