Chicago PD season 4 episode 18 spoilers: Burgess’ sister questions Ruzek

Next week, Chicago PD season 4 episode 18 is going to air on NBC, and as a result of that, we’re going to be seeing another compelling case — did you expect anything less? What makes this particular episode (entitled “Little Bit of Light”) all the more interesting was that you’re going to get a sense of some of Chicago’s wealthy elite. Anytime that you can dive into this world, you know that you’re going to find yourself some crazy and dramatic stuff. It’s the sort of thing that you would expect from this show.

Beyond that, you’re also going to get a significant family presence in this episode, as well! After all, we’re going to get a chance to see Burgess’ sister Nicole for the first time. She’s someone who clearly cares about her sister significantly, and as a result of that, she’s going to do whatever she can to protect her. Here’s the problem — she may not have the best feelings towards Ruzek. Given the way that things went the last time that Burgess and Ruzek were together, it shouldn’t be all that big of a shock that they wouldn’t have the best relationship in the world. The larger mystery that we’re left to wonder over is whether there is anything that he can do to turn her around and change her mind.

Chicago PD season 4 episode 18 synopsis – “When Chicago’s “Night Crawler” Bobby Trent (guest star Michael B. Woods) is murdered over a single piece of mysterious footage, Intelligence must investigate one of Chicago’s wealthiest families — uncovering a lineage of old money and secrets. Meanwhile, Burgess’s (Marina Squerciati) sister Nicole (guest star Jules Willcox) arrives at the District for a visit, and presents an icy attitude towards Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger).”

This story with Nicole and Ruzek is important for the sake of some future dynamics between the characters, but the truth is that things are only going to get worse from here. We’ve already heard that for the first episode of April, Nicole will find herself in a desperate position where she needs help from not only Burgess, but the entire Intelligence team.
