Homeland season 6, episode 9 spoilers: Claire Danes’ ‘Sock Puppets’ story
Let’s go ahead now and share what little we know about the episode going into the promo’s release — we have to be honest, though, when we say that it’s not all that much.
Synopsis – “Carrie catches a break. Keane makes a plan. Max goes undercover.”
What’s still out there to learn about the episode is specifically what this break will be for Carrie, and also whether or not it’s going to be permanent. If that turns out to be the case, then what becomes of the show? This is not a show where we do tend to see people like Carrie get breaks. As a matter of fact, it’s rather counter-intuitive for the writers to offer this up when it comes to the detriment of drama.
Promo – Well, it’s certainly looking as though there are some interesting other bits and pieces of drama coming up! Specifically, Saul is going to be focusing on getting answers from Carrie — which makes it appear that the “break” in the synopsis may suddenly be far-fetched. She’s not got to worry about some sort of vast conspiracy, and a wide array of problems that she may not be able to properly solve on her own.
The one thing that this promo does reinforce in full, at least to us, is that Dar is probably going to die before we get to the end of the run, and when it happens, it’s sure to bring about a wide array of different reactions.
Remember, you can head over to the link here in the event you want some other news when it comes to Homeland.

From the “Next on Episode 9” I get the impression that Carrie is going to work for an agency that is related to the Inspector General.
