Criminal Minds season 12, episode 15 video: Does Spencer Reid have ally behind bars?

Criminal Minds -

There is another news episode of Criminal Minds airing on CBS Wednesday night, and this one could be giving you a Harold Perrineau – Matthew Gray Gubler team-up … maybe. It may be a little too early to tell for sure that the intentions are of our newcomer to the show.

Here’s what we do know. Perrineau (who you may know from Lost, Sons of Anarchy, or many other awesome projects) is going to be playing Calvin Shaw. In theory, he could be an ally to Spencer Reid behind bars as he awaits whatever his fate may be. Given that this is a guy responsible for putting many people behind bars, you have to think that he’s going to be a target. This is something that you even see in the preview below. The walls are closing in on Spencer as a few of his fellow inmates seem to want a piece of him. Shaw tells Reid to trust him, and he may have to. There aren’t many other possible options in a place like this.

While on the outside, we do think that the BAU will do their best to help him, and of course, Reid will do his best to help himself, as well. The big problems here come via jurisdictions and distractions. There may only be so much that the team can do to lend a helping hand given that they’ve got other stuff on their plate. While it’d be great if people stopped murdering each other for any reason, that doesn’t seem likely. Rossi, Garcia, and company will be inundated with more cases, and Reid has to figure out a way to handle being behind bars in the process.

Alas, don’t expect his situation to be resolved one way or another. As we’ve said many times over, this seems to be an arc that will last for a long time as we press onward into the season.

If you’re a little confused as to how we got to this point on the show, have no fear! All you need to do is head over to the link here, since that article may do a good job of catching you up.
