The Originals season 4 premiere spoilers: Check out the synopsis!

Originals -

You may be waiting until Friday, March 17 in order to see the premiere episode for The Originals on The CW, but you don’t have to wait any longer for one other thing: Some of the first details for what to expect to see as we push further into the story.

Specifically, this premiere episode entitled “Gather Up the Killers” is going to exit for the primary purpose of showing some of the further danger that is swirling in New Orleans, and to go along with that, the potential return of Klaus and Elijah to the present. (You can ultimately thank Hayley for that, given that she is the one putting forth the effort to have that happen.)

Synopsis – “On the fifth anniversary of Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) defeat, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) is king of the city and welcomes the un-sired vampires to New Orleans, only to find they pose an unexpected threat to his rule, leading him to seek counsel from an unlikely source. Meanwhile, as Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) closes in on the cure that will allow her to revive Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and the slumbering Mikaelsons, she faces a final task that will force her to make a ruthless decision.”

So will Hayley succeed in some of her efforts? It’s definitely something that remains to be seen now as we press onward into the third season, and start to determine whether or not she will be able to get the First Family of Vampires back. You gotta think that the odds are high, though, if for no other reason than that the show loses a great deal of its inherent excitement when you’re cutting people like Klaus or Elijah from the mix. You want them around, battling some of the other vampires, and throwing out as many intimidating-vampire-stares as possible since that is a huge part of what makes this show great.
