‘The 100’ season 4, episode 5 preview: Can Eliza Taylor’s Clarke bring peace?

The 100 -

Every week these days, “The 100” is going to be giving you a story that is themed in one way or another around important decisions. Tonight, a big part of that could be Clarke trying to determine who survives in the midst of an ever-spreading nuclear threat.

Regardless of what happens on tonight’s episode, there is one thing we do know with confidence moving into next week’s installment entitled “The Tinder Box” — we’re going to be seeing Eliza Taylor’s character try to bring about peace in a way that hasn’t quite happened as of late. That’s been one of the biggest bits of frustration with the effort that has existed on the show to date: No matter what she does, nothing seems to be working from the vantage point of getting people together. they are too busy fighting over potential leadership positions that they are in turn struggling with finding ways to unite and ensure their common survival.

Will we get a chance to see more drama at the top of the food chain? All signs seem to be pointed towards that as she does everything that she can in order to ensure the survival of those she cares about.

Synopsis – “Clarke (Eliza Taylor) makes a desperate plea with a former allied force in an attempt to avoid a war and ensure the survival of her people.”

Promo – Are we going to see a negotiation, an execution, or something else entirely? Like we said, this is a show where difficult people make difficult decisions, and that’s something we anticipate continuing on as we get further into the thick of the season. The biggest thing that Clarke is going to have to remember here is that she doesn’t have a lot of time to contemplate over some of her moves. She will have to act — and act quickly. Otherwise, she runs the risk of having herself called out for some of her actions.
