‘Bones’ season 12, episode 9 preview: Stephen Fry returns!
Tonight, “Bones” season 12 is airing a new episode with its fair share of drama. How else do you describe an episode that is featuring an appearance from Eddie McClintock for the first time in years? It was also a fairly sad installment, mostly when you consider the fact that we also saw Booth and Brennan struggle with some of her grief as a result of her losing her father.
Next week, the celebration of the final season is going to continue in its own way, as you will get a chance to see the return of know other than Stephen Fry! Gordon is back, and it’ll be interesting to see where he’s going to be at in his life moving forward, largely because of the fact we’ve already seen him transition into some various places already.
Synopsis – “When a young man dies in a horrendous hay baler accident, Booth, Brennan and Aubrey slap on trashy disguises and go undercover at a rowdy demolition derby competition to investigate the case. Meanwhile, Dr. Gordon Wyatt (guest star Stephen Fry) returns and assists Hodgins and Cam when the ongoing Gormogon case hits a dead end.”
Aside from getting a chance to see Fry on the show once more, the big appeal for this upcoming episode is clearly going to be the opportunity to see some characters go undercover once more. Undercover missions are a huge part of the bread and butter into what makes this show so great and entertaining. You get to see the characters try on different personalities, and sometimes this is a way to bring people together. We certainly think that Booth and Brennan over the years have bonded largely because of some of these missions over the years — they are not meant to be minimized.
