‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Overnight dates could take Vanessa Grimaldi, Raven Gates to Lapland, Finland
Tonight, “The Bachelor” gave you the Hometown Dates portion of the season, and it proved to be every bit as DRAMATIC as you would’ve expected for it to be. After all, Vanessa Grimaldi’s father was the most terrifying man imaginable, and we saw that compared to Corinne, the rest of her family wasn’t all that ridiculous at all.
Now, the biggest question that remains is just who he is going to choose — beyond of course Rachel Lindsay, since we know that she was not picked in the end here.
Let’s go ahead and say one other thing: The whole hype around Andi Dorfman’s return is ridiculous, given that this is almost certainly nothing. These people don’t really hang out. Maybe they see each other casually here and there, but the show edits this to look like she’s actually going to have some sort of bearing on the end of the season when that couldn’t be further from the truth. The likely scenario is that producers wanted her solely for the promo.
Eventually, the final three contestants this season will get to the Overnight Dates, which will be in the remote-but-romantic area of Lapland, Finland — in the country, this is where they claim Santa Claus lives! There are so many beautiful sights to see, and it’s interesting that the show chose a colder climate for the end of this season given that they tend to love going to more tropical locales. Maybe they felt like mixing things up this year given that we have a slightly-older leading man than we’ve had in the past.
Our assumption is that Corinne Olympios is gone at the final four, mostly because there’s no reason to keep her anymore — she’s more of a character than a serious contender, and we see this more about Vanessa versus Raven for Nick’s heart at the end of the show.
