‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 14 preview: Jesus lashes out; secrets have consequences

Fosters -

Tuesday night’s new episode of “The Fosters” is going to pick up largely where this past one left off, and that means the road for both Jesus and Lena is not going to get any easier.

At the end of this past episode, what we saw was Lena taking a leave of absence from her job in order to nurse Jesus back to health; however, he was not all that receptive to some of what was given to him. He didn’t understand what he was doing, or how to differentiate between right from wrong. He was angry, confused, and disoriented, and there will be some of that frustration that comes out further Tuesday when he starts to go through harder physical therapy. When he struggles to read a flash card, he lashes out further at Lena, telling her to “shut up” while saying that he’s giving up the training for the time being.

Will this change over time? Hopefully, but this is all going to be about patience and being okay accepting the fact that things will not be better for the family in a day’s time.

Meanwhile, the second sneak peek that we’ve got for you below puts more of the focus on the crisis going on at home: One pertaining to all the secrets that the kids have kept from their parents. Stef, frustrated with not being clued in to what was going on in the lives of her kids, decided that her best course of action was to remove many of the doors surrounding her home. In doing so, it means that they are going to do everything that they can in order to get some privacy via some other means, including hiding out in the bathroom, otherwise known as the only room available to the kids with a door. Brandon’s upset about the long line to get in the shower, especially when it means that he has to go to school with dirty hair.

Sure, in the grand scheme of things Brandon’s hair seems like the least of his family’s worries, but you do have to remember that these people are still kids! Despite their extraordinary circumstances, they’re going to go through some of the same stuff that many people do at their age.
