‘Elementary’ season 5, episode 15 preview: When will Jonny Lee Miller, cast return?

Elementary -Tonight, “Elementary” is coming back from a brief hiatus with an episode entitled “Rekt in Real Life,” one that’s going to give you a good opportunity to dive further into the world of eSports. Other than a recent episode of “Bull,” we still don’t quite think that this is something that many viewers out there are all that familiar with — at least those who choose to watch CBS on a regular basis.

So when is the show going to follow this episode up with something more? Unfortunately, all signs point to it being another two weeks. The next installment is entitled “Wrong Side of the Road,” and it is coming your way on Sunday, March 5. The interesting thing about this episode is that the network’s still opting to keep many details about it a secret, even though we know some of the details for other CBS shows airing on the night, including “Madam Secretary” and “NCIS: New Orleans.”

What would we like to see? With this show, it’s really simple: A fascinating mystery with some good twists to it, and a chance to see Jonny Lee Miller’s tremendous wit at work. It felt right to give up on specific expectations a little while ago, especially since the return of Natalie Dormer as Moriarty still hasn’t happened and that’s the sort of thing we could crow about until the cows come home.

At the very least, it’s been confirmed that we will be seeing the Kitty Winter character in a meaningful way soon, so you’ve got something specific to cling to as we push forward into the season. Given that the series doesn’t have a concrete future beyond the finale in May, we especially hope that the writers look at this as a great challenge to push forward, give the series everything possible, and try to deliver something that dares CBS to keep it on the air a little bit longer. Moriarty or no Moriarty, that’s needed.
