‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’: What matters more than Porsha Williams, Kandi Burruss’ history? Everything

Sunday night’s new episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” proved one thing: When there is almost no big drama to promote, you do your best to create some out of Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams’ sexual history. As if the “rejuvenation” segment earlier in the episode was not enough for you, we saw at least 10-15 minutes tonight that were all about “lesbian” rumors and all other sort of nonsense as though it somehow matters in 2017 who you’ve been with and how you identify yourself.

Let’s make it simple: There are silly plotlines, and then there are REALLY SILLY ones. What happened tonight between these two women is REALLY SILLY. Kandi claims that she owns being with women, but she feels like Porsha lives her life “in secret.” Then, Porsha then went on and on about supposed threesomes, sex dungeons, and all sorts of other stuff. Was this some sort of planted crossover than “Fifty Shades of Grey”?

The most entertaining about this crossover was watching the various camera-pans to other people at the restaurant, who mostly looked uncomfortable and had “CHECK PLEASE” written across their faces.

For the sake of it, we figured we’d give you a list of things we’d rather see rather than Porsha and Kandi talking over each other about how many women the latter’s been with.

-Sheree being momager to her son / only allowing him to take paid gigs right now like he’s somehow ready for that and he’s getting offers from Cynthia Bailey on the regular.

-More glamping.

-Phaedra Parks doing almost ANYTHING.

-Whatever was going on in the recording studio earlier in the episode.

-NeNe Leakes fighting with La Toya Jackson on “The Celebrity Apprentice.”

-Sheree’s house tours.

-More of the canned taglines from the theme song.

-Joyce forcing herself into stuff on the show.

-The current Kim Richards storyline on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” … okay that’s where we draw the line. We’d rather have Kandi and Porsha because that’s all sorts of awful.

Did you enjoy this fight more than we did, and what do you got to add to this list? Share below! Meanwhile, head over here to get some other news on “RHOA” as soon as possible. (Photo: Bravo.)
