‘The Walking Dead’ season 7, episode 10 preview: Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira in a sea of faces

twdSunday night’s new episode of “The Walking Dead” is right around the corner, and there is probably one reaction that you’re going to have to the sneak peek below: WOW. There are a few different things that stand out about it, but the biggest one is perhaps the mere fact of how many people there are in this new camp.

When Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) were first taken, it was never our thought that we’d be going to a community quite like this. All of the junk everywhere feels almost straight out of “Borderlands,” especially with the little entryway that has everyone trickling in. As mentioned, the popular is rather large — especially in terms of the people with mullets. (Wouldn’t Eugene fit in really well here? We’re starting to think so.) We took a rought count, and it feels like there are close to a hundred people just in the thumbnail below.

Unfortunately, there’s not too much to write home about here other than the landscape and the mass of people, given that there isn’t a single word of dialogue spoken in here.

Let’s put on a thinking cap for a moment, probably one made of garbage like everything else that seems to be there – Is it possible that we’re going to get a chance to see Rick recruit some of these people to the cause? We gotta think that it’s possible, though we don’t have much of a clue who any of these people are or what they stand for. It’s just clear that Rick’s going to have to line up some bodies to make a real play at Negan, and he’s going to have to get them from somewhere. This could be that opportunity, provided that he’s ready to seize it and provided that he actually wants to trust some group of random people who clearly love chilling in garbage.

What’s your take on this sneak peek below? Let us know in the comments, and OF COURSE we’ll be back with some more “Walking Dead” scoop over the weekend. We suggest that you go ahead and head over to the link here, since that’s where you can get some other news when it comes to the show. (Photo: AMC.)
