‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2, episode 11 preview: To protect George Washington
It feels like every time-travel show on the air has an episode or two that send you back to the Revolutionary War. We saw that recently on “Timeless,” and now moving into the next new episode of “Legends of Tomorrow,” we’re going to see something similar. With that said, this is where the similarities between the two shows end. The mission that we’re going to be seeing moving into next new episode “Turncoat” is going to be one that brings the Legends to the time of the Revolution for one simple reason: They’re needed there rather badly. With that being said, there are going to be many twists to the story that nobody ends up seeing coming.
Synopsis – “When The Legends find a new Time Aberration they learn they must travel to the winter of 1776 to protect George Washington and the American Revolutionary War. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned, forcing Sara (Caity Lotz) to send out Nate (Nick Zano) and Amaya (Maisie-Richardson-Sellers) to help. Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) and Stein (Victor Garber) who are busy protecting the incapacitated Waverider from their new enemy, are forced to step into roles that they don’t think they are prepared for.”
The trouble for the Legends at present is strictly that they’ve got the odds stacked against them with the Legion of Doom. While this group may not be in perfect harmony, they possess someone more powerful than any of them in Eobard Thawne who could seemingly take any one of them out whenever he chose to do so. The one thing that they’ve been lucky with so far is that he hasn’t seemed to be all that interested in taking any of them out.
Will that last? We’ll have to wait and see when the story airs…
