‘Chicago PD’ season 4, episode 13 preview: A big Jesse Lee Soffer story in ‘I Remember Her Now’
Let’s start this “Chicago PD” story with a little bit of bad news: There’s no new episode airing on NBC next week. As a matter of fact, you’re going to be waiting until Wednesday, February 8 in order to see the next installment entitled “I Remember You Now.” This is going to be a particularly emotional case, and while you can argue that about many of them Intelligence works on with this show, there’s something even more heartbreaking here. After all, you’ve got a young victim, and you’re also going to particularly poignant stories for Amy Morton and Jesse Lee Soffer as their characters try to wrestle with the situation and figure out precisely what happened. Also, this episode is going to kick off a series of big stories for the February sweeps, and there could be more where this comes from.
For some additional details, you just have to look below.
Synopsis – “The body of a 15-year-old girl is found crushed in an abandoned building after she runs away from a treatment center for troubled girls. Voight (Jason Beghe) sends Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) undercover as a guard to work from the inside at the center, where he believes the girls are trading sexual favors for something in return. Meanwhile, Platt (Amy Morton) feels guilty because the victim was brought into the District last year, and Platt doesn’t remember her.”
This is going to be a particularly important next month and a half for the “Chicago” franchise. After all, we did just learn that on March 1, there is going to be a two-part crossover involving “Fire” and “PD,” and it’s one that is going to carry over into the premiere of “Chicago Justice.” There’s going to be a lot of emotional stuff in these upcoming installments, but if you’re watching this show, that is probably what you are hoping to see.
