‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 11 video: ‘Genetics’ features an adoption struggle

After a holiday hiatus, the return of “Blue Bloods” to CBS is just about upon you — and we’re here with the latest glimpse at precisely what you can expect to see!

The video is your first look (at least in video form) of “Genetics,” the latest installment coming your way to CBS on Friday night. This is one that will feature several different struggles, whether it be Frank having to test the honesty of some of his new recruits, Jamie and Eddie getting potentially overly involved in an adoption case, and the aftermath that comes out of said adoption case once we end up seeing Erin get involved. She goes in hoping to make the situation better, but unfortunately, there are no guarantees of that. A dispute comes out between the adoptive and birth mother of a child that could end up leading to the birth mother being arrested effectively for kidnapping her own biological son.

Unfortunately, for those of you who are on Jamie / Eddie romance watch (we get it — we’re right there with you), there is no clear sign that there will be a massive update in this episode. Rest assured that there will be one down the road, as the two will have a chance to better assess this courtesy of seeing two people on the force try to maintain a personal relationship at the same time. We won’t say too much more about it at the moment, other than that it gives them a lot to think about.

Hopefully, this will be an episode that proves to be very much worth the wait.
