‘Gotham’ season 3 spoilers: Cameron Monaghan posts another Jerome photo
The third season of “Gotham” will be returning to Fox with all-new episodes next month, and what better way to celebrate than another sneak peek photo from Cameron Monaghan?
If there is one different between this image and the other ones that we’ve seen of his character Jerome, it’s that this is one of the first ones that he’s kept online. The others that he has posted have been promptly removed not too long afterwards, which we’ve figured was some sort of clever way to further promote his upcoming appearance.
Another way in which he’s doing that is by simply keeping the mystery factor high. While this photo below showcases his Joker prototype seemingly being uncovered by Lee Thompkins (Morena Baccarin), it’s hard to necessarily believe here everything that you see. It’s a confusing train to follow, especially since you should remember that Jerome was killed off the last time that you saw him and there could be a lot of photos out there to throw you off the scent. We’ve seen Monaghan sport varying degrees of the Joker’s famous makeup, and also in various stages now of life and death.
If the character is back, it’s certainly a cause for excitement — though we do hope that there is a great explanation as to why people are able to keep popping back up from the dead. Otherwise, it’s going to start feeling like death doesn’t really matter at all on this show, and that’s a dangerous message to send in the event that you do have some other characters who go down the road.
