‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8, episode 12: When do LL Cool J, Chris O’Donnell, cast return with new episodes?

NCISFans of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” brace yourself for a little bit of a long winter’s nap after tonight’s new episode “Tidings We Bring.” The show is going to be off for the two weeks following this installment, which does make some sense given that these weeks are Christmas and New Year’s Day. Who in their right mind wants to compete against that?

Luckily, the show is going to be back on CBS come Sunday, January 8, and with an episode entitled “Kulinda.” What’s that a reference to? It could be the Swahili word, which means a form of protection or simply to protect. When you look at what we have below via a CBS press release, that may make a little bit more sense.

Synopsis – “After a Navy reservist is killed while protecting a city councilman, Sam is sent undercover in a private security firm with links to several criminal organizations. Also, Callen and Anna (Bar Paly) discuss the next steps in their relationship.”

The story of the week seems to be the one where protection is to a certain degree integral in what is coming up, whereas with the Callen and Anna story, we’re more seeing precisely what is coming up next for the two of them. We do continue to remain curious as to what the show’s long-term plans are for this character, or if we are only seeing more of her at present while we wait for Daniela Ruah to be more around full-time in her traditional capacity.

No matter what, there are still plenty of episodes to go and stories to tell in the new year, and just as you would expect, we’ll be there every step of the way with more insight.
