‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2, episode 9 preview: When will Caity Lotz, cast return with new episodes?
Tonight, “Legends of Tomorrow” is airing its midseason finale in “The Chicago Way,” an episode that is going to be bringing a wide array of surprises to you in between the arrival of Malcolm Merlyn and even more drama when it comes to the Legion of Doom.
Now, the next order of business is going to be waiting, and in some cases, you may be waiting for a rather long time to see precisely what is coming up next. There is no new episode next week, and as a matter of fact, it will be no more until the new year. There’s also going to be another notable change for the series coming up, as we are going to be seeing the show moving over to Tuesday nights starting on January 24, where it will air after “The Flash” at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. If you’re wondering if there is any particular reason for the move, it seems to be mostly just a way to shake up the schedule a little bit and make some room for some other new series.
For “Legends of Tomorrow,” it’s hard to see this as anything other than a net positive since it means that there is going to be even more potential for viewers in this timeslot. It will have people potentially just staying put on The CW after “The Flash” ends, and won’t have the pressure of leading off a new night for the first time since it came on the air.
For those wondering, don’t think about this as any evidence at all that the show is in ratings danger. We actually think that it is the opposite. “Legends of Tomorrow” is doing well, and this is merely a chance to make it better.
