‘The X Factor’ UK: Little Mix, The Weeknd confirmed for final; latest Saara Aalto story

X Factor -In kicking off this particular “X Factor” story moving into the final this weekend, let’s start things off with news about the lineup of participants: Both Little Mix and The Weeknd (fittingly) are going to be coming aboard the final! These two acts will be joining Kylie Minogue, and the appearance of The Weeknd in particular lends some credence to the chatter that the singer could be performing with 5 After Midnight.

Earlier this week, there was talk about him doing this duet performance, and that seems to be likely the case, just as it also seems likely that Adam Lambert will perform with Saara Aalto. However, talk about James Arthur performing with Matt Terry has started to cool down, so there may be a little bit of mystery there still regarding who he could be performing with. The funny thing here is that if there’s ever a question mark, you can always just hire Nicole Scherzinger to do it! She’s certainly served as a duet partner on the show in the past.

Now, let’s talk rumors – While The Sun’s gotten a good bit right as of late, we take a little bit of frustration from them saying that Saara’s mentor Sharon Osbourne “snubbed” her by going back to America rather than joining her finalist in Finland for her hometown visit, acting as though she could easily just cancel her gig on “The Talk” for a week and visit a different part of the country. She’s got a job! This is unfortunately what you have when you hire Sharon to be on this show; she’s traveling from one part of the world to the next already, so having her do so again seems almost impossible. Also, shows like “The Talk” need some advance warning, and there was clearly a point on this season where it looked like nobody from the Overs was going to make it to that point.

We imagine that Saara and Sharon will get back together later this week to prepare for the final, and everything will be more than fine.
