‘Chicago Fire’ season 5, episode 9 preview: When will Taylor Kinney, cast return?
Tonight, “Chicago Fire” received a chance to celebrate something that is really remarkable, and something that not many shows these days get to: 100 episodes on the air! This was a tremendous achievement, and absolutely something that bears some celebration. They had that with tonight’s episode, and found a very cool way in the process to tie in the story of Molly’s the institution that is really at the heart of the entire franchise at this point.
Now that the episode is over, we do have to start looking more towards episode #101. When will it air? Think along the lines of Tuesday, January 3. This was previously confirmed via NBC after the “Chicago PD” fall finale, given that there is a crossover event that is coming up starting on that night between the two shows. We cannot share too many details about it just yet, but we know that there’s going to a be a lot of interesting / exciting stuff to discuss, especially since we are getting near the premiere of “Chicago Justice” and expanding this universe over to four shows. Each one has their quirks to help make them special.
The promo below offers a little more insight into what is coming up, as Severide is going to find himself accused of causing a car accident that leads to serious injuries and even the death of a child. He’s going to claim that he is innocent and wrongfully accused, but will anyone believe him? This may be a situation that with so much evidence to the contrary, he will really have to fight in order to prove that he is not the responsible party here.
If there is one thing to be hopeful about here, you can be sure that he’ll have people trying to fight for him if they can.
