‘The Flash’ season 3, episode 10 preview: Return date for Grant Gustin – Candice Patton series

Tonight, “The Flash” is airing a winter finale with some fairly-enormous ramifications, given that we’re set to learn a considerable amount about Savitar, Alchemy, the arrangement that stands there, and almost everything that is to come moving forward this season. We’re going to have a hiatus coming up, but the good news is that more than half of the season is still to come!

If you do want to think in terms of when the show is coming back, we can offer up a little bit of tentative information in regards to that: Tuesday, January 24. We originally thought it was going to be the 17th based on information out there, but it was announced tonight that it would actually be a week later.

As for what you can actually expect to see over the course of this coming episode, the answer is “a wide array of things.” Without knowing specifics, we have a hard time envisioning that either Savitar or Alchemy is done just yet, and we’ll be diving so much further into this world. Most of the discussion that was floating around out there prior to these episodes coming on the air suggested that we could be getting near the end of the road for Flashpoint in terms of it being a main driving force of the narrative; the aftereffects of it are still there, but there will be a few other story elements that really start to take over in terms of importance.

Also, we hope for even more of Caitlin using her powers, seeing Wally West out in the field, and for things to be patched up further between Barry and Cisco after the difficult season they’ve had.
