‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 19 preview: What remains for Rowan Blanchard, cast this season
For everyone out there excited to see more “Girl Meets World” on the Disney Channel, rest assured that we are right there with you! Unfortunately, it just doesn’t look as though we are going to have a wide array of opportunities to do that moving into the future.
There are only three episodes still to come for Rowan Blanchard and company this season, and when you think of them in terms of ordinary episodes, there are really only two.
Girl Meets Sweet Sixteen – This feels pretty self-explanatory. Given that this is the Disney Channel as opposed to MTV, at least we can hope that this isn’t going to be the sort of crazy-chaotic Sweet Sixteen party that leaves parents sobbing in the closest broom closet.
Girl Meets Goodbye – The season, and possibly series, finale that will feature the return of many popular “Boy Meets World” cast members as the Matthew family makes a key decision about the future.
Meanwhile, you also do have World Meets Girl coming, which is more of a special featuring audience interaction, hence the fact that this is the only episode in the series so far with a slightly different name. Clearly, the show doesn’t want you to believe that you would be getting the same sort of thing in this episode as you do everywhere else.
Unfortunately, most signs suggest that you will not be getting any of these episodes until the new year. The Disney Channel as of this writing has not confirmed a return date for the series, but they have said that season 3 will not end until 2017. It’s hard to imagine the network only airing a single episode in the new year on a bit of an island, so pairing it up with the remainder of the episodes on a weekly basis does make the most fundamental sense.
