‘Shameless’ season 7, episode 10 preview: Mickey returns; could Fiona sell the laundromat?

Is the laundromat set to become one of the shortest experiments in the history of “Shameless“? We’re now starting to wonder that based on some of the early information that is starting to come out about “Ride or Die,” which is the next new episode airing in seven days. We’re in the home stretch of the season, and after Fiona put so much effort into trying to get this new venture off of the ground, she is now facing the possibility of having to send it off into the sunset.

Just in case you aren’t enjoying this particular story all that much, rest assured that there are going to be plenty of others coming up that are very much exciting in their own way.

Synopsis (via TV Guide) – “Fiona considers selling the laundromat when she’s faced with renovations and repairs. Meanwhile, Ian deals with the reality that Mickey might be out of prison and on the lam; and Kev and V take matters into their own hands after learning of Svetlana’s latest betrayal.”

The return of Mickey to many is easily going to be the story that they are the most exciting about, given that he remains one of the show’s most popular characters and his relationship with Ian is a fan-favorite one. We’ll be the first to admit here that we’re excited to see how all of this plays out, given that we are assuming that you’re not going to be bringing back Mickey at this point just to have him in one episode and write him back off; then again, at the same time it’s hard to imagine how he and Ian are going to be able to have any sort of a future if he’s always running from something or someone.
