‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8, episode 11 preview: Tidings of comfort and joy

Can you feel Christmas in the air? We’re starting to, and it’s an exciting feeling that has us ready for what is hopefully going to be an excellent holiday season. Given the tragedies and hardships that have come in 2016, we figure that everyone needs a little bit of time in order to rest, unwind, and look towards the future.

In looking now towards what’s next on “NCIS: Los Angeles,” the good news is that we’re going to have an opportunity to finally see a thing or two more in regards to how the gang is celebrating the holiday season! Unfortunately, the bad news is that you’re going to be waiting for a very long time in order to see it. The next new episode is entitled “Tidings We Bring,” but it’s no airing until we get around to Sunday, December 18.

Why the long wait? We feel like some of that may be due to competition elsewhere, but there may also be a part of this where CBS merely wants their Christmas episode out there actually close to Christmas rather than one that is only a week or two away. We do get where they are coming from here, given that there are some networks out there that put on their holiday episodes in early December and everyone seems to ring in the holidays at their own speed. We know that for us, we personally enjoy getting a chance to celebrate them throughout the month of December, but maybe by the 18th even some more Scrooges out there will be prepared with the decorations and carols.

Unfortunately, this episode is too far away for us to have an official synopsis or some further details. Hopefully, we’ll have that for you shortly.
