‘Timeless’ episode 8 preview: The ‘Space Race’ begins
Tonight, “Timeless” is throwing you back further in time than we’ve seen them go so far this series, with one of the biggest things we’re going to see is precisely what happens when the time machine the team’s been using ends up going on the fritz. Somehow, they’re going to make it back to the present, but in true show fashion they’re not going to be staying there particularly long.
With that, let’s look ahead now at the next new episode entitled “Space Race,” which is going to take you into a very different period in history — one that still should prove to be very much interesting given that this
Synopsis – “As the nation waits to hear the fate of the astronauts of Apollo 11, Flynn (Goran Visnjic) arrives near mission control, intending to rewrite the events of that momentous day. Hot on his trail, Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter), and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett ) need to be bolder than ever and call upon one of history’s unsung heroes if they’re going to have a shot at setting things right.”
Sound interesting to everyone else? We’re personally down and then some to have a storyline that is almost exclusively about one of the most interesting eras in the history of the country, and one that could go terribly wrong in a wide array of different ways. If you are looking for a story with stakes, it feels pretty darn clear that this one is going to be it and then some.
Promo – What if the Moon landing never happened? This is probably one of the strongest, most-intense promos we’ve seen for the show to date — though we’re still sure that there are people out there convinced that the Moon landing never happened in the first place, anyway.
