‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 9 preview: The JFK conspiracy theory
Tonight on “Hawaii Five-0,” you will get a chance to see a story play out that is in many ways deeply personal to one of our characters in Danny. After all, he’s serving as a chaperone for her school dance when a hostage crisis breaks out. He’s protected many a person before on the show, but we have to imagine the situation’s much more dire and personal when you are talking about your own daughter.
So where in the world are we going from here? Well, we first and foremost give credit to the show for being for not trying to follow up tonight’s episode with anything similar. That would probably both diminish the impact of what Danny goes through and also make it feel a little less noteworthy. Also, how could it live up to it? You don’t want that pressure.
For “‘Elua la ma Nowemapa” a.k.a. “Two Days in November,” we’re doing something completely different. We’ve discussed recently a story all about a JFK conspiracy theory, and this is your chance to see that play out.
Synopsis – “When a conspiracy theorist with compelling evidence that JFK’s cabinet ordered his assassination is murdered, Five-0 investigate’s one of history’s most notorious unsolved mysteries.”
We can’t imagine that the answer to the JFK assassination in Dallas is going to be found all the way out on Hawaii, so the real thing that we’re hoping for here more than anything else is that we get an opportunity to see history explored in an interesting, entertaining way. Hopefully, this conspiracy theorist is presented as more than just a crazy person, and there is at least some validity in some of his ideas — even if they’re as a whole off-base.
