‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: New Nick Viall promo coming during ‘Dancing with the Stars’

We can all use a little bit of romance / silly drama in our lives, so with that in mind, good news is on the way: There will be another promo for “The Bachelor” coming in the near future!

In a post on Twitter, ABC’s own Robert Mills confirmed that Monday night’s new episode of “Dancing with the Stars” will play host to a new promo for Nick Viall’s upcoming season starting on January 2, and hopefully this time around we’ll get some more legitimate footage! To date, that is something we’re by and large lacking in the lead-up (or at least the ones we’ve seen).

Our biggest hope going into this season is just that we get to see the franchise getting back to some of what it does best, and that is create these sort of wild / weird pop-culture moments that are perfectly juxtaposed against some romance. While we do enjoy “Bachelor in Paradise” in all of its assorted craziness, there’s a little bit of something lost out of seeing people who are now suddenly incredibly self-aware as opposed to relatively green on the reality-TV process. Sure, there are probably more unhappy “Bachelor” contestants after the fact because of not realizing what sort of edit they’ll likely get, but we don’t really base our enjoyment of these shows on the feelings of others.

To go along with this promo, we hope to have more details regarding the cast over the next few weeks leading up to the holiday season. What better activity is there over the holiday break than sitting down on December 24 and making fun of people’s bios with your immediate family?
