‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 3, episode 6: Will the ‘under the sheet’ reveal be devastating?

HTGAWM -At the end of Thursday night’s new episode of “How to Get Away with Murder,” we were able to cross off yet another name off of the list of people who could be dying at the end of the season: Asher. We know that he is now alive, and for those who do like the character that’s good news. Personally, he’s the sort of character who, while slimy at times, is especially compelling to watch. We’d be bummed if he was gone.

Now that we say that, having him be dead does lower the list of other possible candidates. Now, we’re really looking at a group that includes only the following…

Wes – This remains the show’s biggest chance at shocking viewers across the country, but we just can’t see it given that he may be the father of Laurel’s unborn baby. Taking him out of the equation now feels like bad timing.

Simon – Would Annalise really be so upset over losing him? He’s a fascinating character who’s easy at times to loathe, but we don’t think we’ve known him long enough for his death to be worth all of the hype.

Frank – We’ve stated for some time that him going here would be the death that makes the most sense, mostly because we do think that sooner or later, much of what has happened would probably come back to haunt him. That only feels like the natural order of things.

Nate – If you were to line up the death to Annalise’s reaction, this one stands out. It would obviously devastate her, and at times doing this is precisely what the show does do best.

Connor – We don’t want to see it happen given that we do root for Oliver and him to end up together — especially since there is still a lack of same-sex couples on television. Yet, there’s an argument that this would be the most-shocking death out of any one mentioned here beyond Wes, and that may be what producers are going for.
