‘Power’ season 4 spoilers: See Omari Hardwick’s Ghost behind bars
We knew that the fourth season of “Power” was going to be starting things off in a dramatically different way than season 3, and what we consider the photo above to be is more or less icing on the cake.
This photo was first posted by Entertainment Weekly, and it features Omari Hardwick’s James St. Patrick a.k.a. Ghost talking to someone (is it Tasha or Angela?) with a clearly distraught look on his face. Angela brought him in at the end of season 3 for the murder of Greg Knox, even though it was actually Mike Sandoval who was responsible. While Ghost may not be guilty of that, it is still fairly easy to connect some of the dots that got him to this particular spot. He is guilty of betraying Angela’s trust, and due to his duplicitous nature, he allowed himself to be in a position where she could be suspicious of his true motives.
Also, to the credit of Sandoval, he’s done a pretty darn good job being able to keep some of his true allegiances under wraps.
In prison, Ghost will have a chance to hopefully redeem himself in Angela’s eyes, but it’s not going to be easy. Even if he gets out, he’s not likely to have the same opportunities that he did before going in. He was set to expand his nightclub empire with Truth, and now that he has this hanging over him, will anyone want to actually work with him?
Unfortunately, you’re still going to be waiting for a good while in order to see this season premiere. New episodes are going to start airing on Starz at some point next year; filming, however, is currently underway in New York City.
