‘Chicago Fire’ season 5, episode 2 preview: Is Severide getting charged with attempted murder?
During the season 5 premiere for “Chicago Fire,” we saw Kelly Severide do everything that he felt he needed to in order to protect Stella. Unfortunately, in the process this time around it meant hurting her ex-boyfriend Grant after he felt that he was coming after her in a violent way. He did what he felt needed to be done, but the unfortunate thing is that moving forward, there may still be consequences in “A Real Wake-Up Call” next week.
Synopsis – “Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) find themselves unexpectedly caught in the middle of a potential political mess. Stella (Miranda Rae Mayo) is left to make a serious decision about her ex-boyfriend. While responding to an auto accident, members of truck and squad find themselves in the middle of a dangerous situation. Elsewhere, Severide (Taylor Kinney) befriends a famous socialite (guest star Scott Elrod) that might distract him from his duties at 51, while Brett (Kara Killmer) and Mouch (Christian Stolte) set aside their writing differences for the greater good.”
Clearly, not everything is going to be miserable for Severide moving forward thanks to his new famous friend, and Brett and Mouch could be continuing to keep down the fort from a comedy point of view with their storyline about firefighter romances.
Promo – This is where things could get serious once more. Amid charges that Casey may have used his political position as Alderman in order to ensure that Louie stayed with Dawson, he may have to fight tooth and nail in order to ensure the child stays with them. In between this and Severide’s legal woes, it looks like we’re in for quite an hour here!
