‘Scream Queens’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Halloween and Chad aftermath
If executive producer Ryan Murphy was out to devastate the entire “Scream Queens” fandom with the new episode on Tuesday, we imagine that he succeeded. After all, you don’t remove someone like Chad from the equation and suddenly expect everyone to be okay with it. There are two reasons why next week’s new episode is entitled “Halloween Blues,” and it starts with everyone feeling a certain case of that in the midst of what seemingly happened to this character. Also, you’ve got smurf costumes. Talking about going from super-serious to super-silly in the blink of an eye.
Unfortunately for those of you looking for a minute to breathe, the bad news is that it’s not coming soon.
Synopsis – “After the latest attack by The Green Meanie leaves everyone shocked and saddened, Dean Munsch and Denise, along with Hester, devise a plan to catch the killer by throwing a Halloween party in the hospital. Meanwhile, Chanel celebrates a different kind of Chanel-O-Ween and attempts to make contact with the killer’s latest victim from beyond the grave. Once the party begins, an outbreak surprises the hospital, leading Brock and Cassidy to jump into action, and another victim falls.”
Promo – Judging from this alone, we’re poised to get a pretty substantial episode once more for Lea Michele’s character, whose motives once again feel relatively unclear. She is, however, a fantastic source of information for the others, and they’re going to feel as though they don’t have too much of a choice other than to trust her. In addition to the costumes and the craziness, seeing if Chanel can figure out a way to find Chad, one way or another, could be key to her finding peace within herself. There may not be much that she cared about in life, but there was something there with Chad.
