‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 3: Premiere date speculation and more for AMC drama
Tonight, “Fear the Walking Dead” season 2 will be coming to a close with a two-hour event, one that is hopefully going to reunite several characters who have spent the better part of the past several episodes apart.
We figure that there will be some better opportunities coming up to discuss the events that take place tonight, so we want to spend more of our time here focusing on a simple question: When is the show coming back? We know that it was renewed for a third season earlier this year, even though we’ve seen some ratings declines. All signs point to a debut in the spring once more, mostly because that gives “The Walking Dead” season 7 time to play out before the show comes on the air. We imagine that there’ll be another split-season format once more that gives you a little bit of the show in the spring before moving to the summer.
Now, the question that we do wonder here is what AMC can do to bring more attention on the series. Is there a way to bring a “Walking Dead” character into the fold? That’s could be something the show could do, as could be bringing in a big-name guest star in some capacity. One of the biggest challenges for this franchise in general is that we don’t know where they are going or if there is an end in sight. We do think that is something that has helped out “Game of Thrones” tremendously, and the same goes for some other shows.
