‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10, episode 3 spoilers: Pressure sets in with Howard’s project
When Monday night’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” aired, one of our questions surrounding it was why CBS was opting not to release information on the third episode of the season airing on October 3. One of our theories was that there was information in the synopsis that spoiled what happened in the episode, even if we’re talking about one of the most mild spoilers out there.
As it turns out, one of the big storylines in “The Dependence Transcendence” is going to be Howard, Leonard, and Sheldon struggling to finish their new project within two months — a time period that Sheldon enforced on them when he acted like a cocky jerk. Meanwhile, we’re also apparently going to learn exactly how Bernadette feels about being pregnant:
“Tensions rise when the boys struggle to complete their government project on time and Sheldon tries an energy drink to stay awake. Also, Penny and Amy go to a “party” at Bert (Brian Posehn) the geologist’s house, and Kooothrappali learns Bernadette’s true feelings about her pregnancy when they clean out the future baby room.”
One of the reasons this episode could prove interesting to us is because of what Bernadette said seasons ago about children: She wasn’t that interested in them. This is something that still hasn’t been fully addressed since she became pregnant, and now is a time when they can really address that head-on. Maybe she is now more excited than she once was, but at the same time, still a little bit apprehensive regarding parts of it. It’s a great unknown for her, especially since none of her friends are parents.
