‘Arrow’ season 5 spoilers: A small tease on 100th episode
There have certainly been a lot of rumors out there suggesting what the 100th episode of “Arrow” will be about, but we’re not sure anything has necessarily been fully confirmed just yet.
However, what we do know is that there will be a slight change of form for this episode more so than any other. Why? Think of it like this: There aren’t any flashbacks coming up. This is confirmed by executive producer Marc Guggenheim, who posted the image below with caption on his Twitter page. He also confirmed that there is “no Flashpoint” in the episode, but that is a little bit less of a surprise when you consider for a minute that Flashpoint is going to be around in the early going on “The Flash,” and while there will be some ramifications of it throughout the DC universe on The CW, we don’t imagine they will be huge here. After all, the last thing that they want to do is completely isolate viewers who only watch “Arrow” and not the other shows.
The premiere of “Arrow” season 5 is coming on October 5, and for the most part, we know that one of the major themes this time around is going to be legacy. Oliver Queen is going to start to look towards the future, and try his best to figure out precisely what he wants out of his life both as the Green Arrow and the Mayor of Star City. We’re excited to see what happens of course leading up to this milestone episode, but also to see if anything big happens as a result of it.
