‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2, episode 10 video: Alicia and an elevator
We’ve said already that this weekend’s new episode of “Fear the Walking Dead” could be a rather tremendous showcase for Alycia Debnam-Carey and her character of Alicia, and you can get a little bit of further evidence of this courtesy of the sneak peek below.
In this preview, you can see Alicia struggling to get through a hotel after being separated from Ofelia. She tries what she can to escape from the walkers, only to realize that her only refuge could be an elevator shaft. There’s a pretty-impressive stunt to get her on the cables, and then we watch as the walkers reach out and try to grab her.
Would the walkers really stand on the ledge, or start diving in hopes of grabbing her that way? We’re not sure that there is much of a consensus when it comes to walker logic, but it’s one of the things that we see while watching this.
In general, we feel like one of the more-fascinating things about this episode is seeing just how much Alicia has learned since the beginning of the series. If you remember, she started off this series as someone relatively-unequipped for dealing with a zombie apocalypse, but she has learned on the fly not only how to take care of herself physically, but also who to trust and who is more or less going to be out for themselves. Behavior patterns change, and she cannot rely solely on the same skill set she once did in the event she wants to make it out of here alive.
